Can I write without AI?
Yes. Drafting, research, milestones and import/export work without managed AI. On-device AI availability depends on your Mac and operating system; writing itself requires macOS 14 or later.
Does Scriptelier upload my documents?
Documents are saved locally. If you approve a remote AI writing action, its provider receives the active document’s title and text, your instruction and any included milestone context. The managed backend does not store manuscripts or AI output. See the full privacy notice.
What happens when I cancel?
Cancel through Apple to stop renewal. Your verified paid term continues, and unused purchased AI credit remains available. Trial credit expires at the end of the verified Apple trial. Approved Apple refunds affect the associated purchase.
Can I download Scriptelier now?
The first Mac App Store release is being prepared. This site shows the implemented app and planned launch offer. The App Store listing will become available after Apple approves the release.
